LIBATIONS & HONORS DAY

Sunday is our Libations & Honors Day. We offer praise, song and dance to our ancestors starting at 3pm. Our theme this year is Honoring Women of Color, where we will offer libations to our mothers, grandmothers, great-greats, aunties, and sisters before us that held up the movement, and honor some of the women today who still move the movement towards equity and equality.

There will be plenty of merch vendors, artists vendors, food vendors, and more! And unlike any other festival in Memphis you are free to bring your grills. The entire weekend is sure to be fun, fabulous, and festive!

We encourage you to come prepared with your tent, tables, chairs, water, grills, blankets, camping/hiking gear/shoes, wear lightweight protective clothing, sunscreen, sun hats & bonnets that protect from the sun, all the things that will keep you festive in the June heat! and most of all STAY HYDRATED!

Please remember that there is no running water or electricity in Douglass Park so be prepared! There will be portable potties available. You are free to bring a generator but it must be staged AWAY from the public if it runs on gas. We recommend that you bring a portable power station to keep your phones & fans charged and a mobile hotspot to keep your social media sociable!
