The Juneteenth Organizing Youth Day is for kids, by kids!
Our Youth Day is organized, planned, and manned by youth from across the city. Youth Day showcases our talented Memphis youth and provides opportunities for youth entrepreneurs.
The Juneteenth platform is more than just celebrating our freedoms. We also mentor, teach, and inspire our youth to creative freedom by teaching them the business side of creating so they can grow their creativity into a profitable business.

The Juneteenth Organizing Youth (J.O.Y.) Day is organized, planned, and produced by youth and young adults from the North Memphis Community. Under the leadership of Ericia Holland and Akilah SPEAKS, our youth learn how to plan, organize, market, promote, acquire talent, and produce events.
